At the annual "Construction Night" event hosted by the Korean American Construction Association (KACA), the 17th former president James Kwon had the honor of introducing distinguished guests and delivering a heartfelt keynote speech. This year’s gathering brought together key figures in the construction industry, as well as community leaders, for a night of celebration and networking. As the former president, he expressed gratitude for the continued growth of KACA and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the construction sector.

KD One Construction Signs MOU with Four Korean Universities – Aiming for Talent Development and Mutual Growth

New York, August 8, 2024
KD One Construction, along with Samyook University, Daejin University, Duksung Women’s University, and Seokyeong University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Douglaston, New York, on August 8. This agreement aims to enhance talent development and mutual growth through collaboration between educational institutions and the industry.

During the MOU signing ceremony, representatives from each institution discussed the significance of the partnership and the anticipated benefits. Samyook University President Je Hye-jong stated, “Collaboration with the industry will greatly enhance the quality of education. We are committed to producing outstanding talent that can contribute to society.”

Daejin University President Lim Young-moon, Duksung Women’s University President Kim Gun-hee, and Seokyeong University’s President also expressed their anticipation for the agreement and their commitment to future cooperation.

This MOU is expected to serve as a significant milestone in promoting sustainable development through mutual collaboration between education and industry.
